What are Royalty-Free (RF) liscensed images?

Royalty Free (RF) images are liscensed once and may be used in multiple projects for an unlimited amount of time. Though there are some limits to the Royalty Free Liscensing Agreement the rights granted are very broad. Because Royalty-Free images are sold on a nonexclusive basis, they are usually used selectively where this will not be an issue.

How are the fees calculated?

Fees for the Royalty-Free images, are not calculated on how or where they will be used. The size of the image file (hence the size of possible usage) as well as current market forces and input from the photographer/illustrator set the price.
